How long have you been playing this sport?
I have been running for over 10 years now. I started in kindergarten!
What do you love most about this sport?
I love doing long runs with brunches after with my friends! I also love cheering on my teammates at track meets!
Who is your biggest rival?
My biggest rival is probably the clock.
Do you have plans to compete collegiately?
I hope to! We'll have to see how the next year goes!
Do you have any pregame rituals or traditions?
Yes, I make sure to get 9+ hours of sleep 2 nights before a race, as well as fuel my body with the right things the day of. I also carbo-load the night before!
How close are you all as a team?
I would say we are a very tight-knit team and we have a lot of fun on runs and bus rides together.
What are your goals for this season?
My goals are to break my personal records, and I have some specific time barriers that I'd like to break as well. Another ultimate goal that I have is to make it to state and outdoor nationals!
What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my personal coach, my dad. He inspires me and pushes me so much, which I will always appreciate. He also always knows the right thing to do involving my running.
What do you love most about being a Scarab?
I love the community of St. Cecilia and the opportunity the school gives me to make the greatest friends ever!
What is your favorite TV show?
My favorite TV show is probably Suits.
What are the top 5 songs on your playlist right now?
Anything Noah Kahan or Chris Stapleton
What is your favorite snack food?
I love popcorn and dried fruit!
What is your favorite pre-game meal?
A sandwich of some sort, a banana, pretzels probably, and fruit snacks
