St. Cecilia Academy sophomore Julia Betbeze attended the 2025 American Choral Directors Association National Honor Choir in Dallas, Texas. More than 5,000 students nationwide auditioned, and as a Soprano 1, Betbeze competed against 420 fellow singers for 82 spots. From March 19 through March 22, she received training from and performed with internationally known choral directors. In addition, Betbeze auditioned and was chosen as one of six out of 300 choir members to sing a special part during the song "Tuttarana" by Reena Esmail.
