The girls have continued to improve over the past couple of weeks with some stellar performances at USN despite bad weather conditions, culminating into our best overall performance thus far at the Doug Hall relays this past weekend.
The 4X200 relay team of Dani Tyson, Mary Pearson Woods, Zoe Mulloy & Jordan Epstein won their heat and placed 4th overall with a season's best time of 1:52.60. This is 6th all-time at SCA in that event. They're only a second away from #2 all time. However, these girls have their eyes set on the school record of 1:48.51 and I think they can do it.
The 4X800 relay team of Jordan Epstein, Abby Miller, Emery Hart and Chloe Crosslin finished 5th with a season's best time of 10:49. This is a significant drop from their previous season's best of 11:01 and they are on pace to eclipse their state qualifying time of 10:23 from last year.
The 4X1600 relay team of Abby Miller, Emery Hart, Chloe Crosslin and Stella Perazzini finished 4th overall with a time of 24:19.98 while also climbing to 4th all time at SCA in this event. This was the first time they've run this event this year.
