Best All-Around Freshman Award

To be selected Best All-Around, members of the Freshman Class must meet certain criteria. One so honored must, of course, be a good student, not only in grade achieved, but she must also make noteworthy contributions to her classroom atmosphere.

Beyond her studies, this freshman must be well involved in some of the many extracurricular activities available at St. Cecilia.

In both areas, curricular and extracurricular, our celebrant’s conduct, reinforced by her overall positive attitude, must exemplify honesty, courtesy, helpfulness, and good manners.

This year’s celebrant, the faculty say, is an honor to have in class. She is diligent in her work, prepared to take questions, and insightful in her responses!

Outside the classroom, this young lady is busy, busy! She is a member of the Student Council, the Chess Club, and has just been elected parliamentarian of Sodality!

That’s not all! She played soccer last fall, basketball this winter, is playing lacrosse currently, and puts in time in the off season improving her skills. Her coaches say that her leadership and maturity are invaluable, and that she is a pleasure to coach!

Best All-Around Freshman: Amy Weber.
