Baccalaureate Mass for the Class of 2023

St. Cecilia Academy
The 162nd graduation celebration started with our tradition of Baccalaureate Mass celebrated by the Most Reverend Bishop Spalding at the Cathedral of the Incarnation.
Bishop Spalding shared that we pray and ask God to lead, guide, and give us insight as we all say yes to his will to fulfill the dream of God. Seeking out the Dominican Difference, what is true, good, and beautiful, all of these things tied together in Catholic education, so we can be led and guided on our way to once again fulfill the dream of God. It’s not always an easy life but a life of purpose and meaning. One that will change the world as our graduates live out God’s dream for their life every day in the vocation they will take on.
The Class of 2023 has been our gift for four years. We pray the Lord makes you ambassadors of his joy and peace in this world. The principal of St. Cecilia Academy, Sister Anna Laura, reminds us, “Whatever happens in life, never hesitate to turn to Jesus for his mercy, healing, and help. Whatever challenges come your way, you can always turn to Mary. She will never let you down.”
Go forth, Class of 2023 – We are praying for you.
